Twenty enterprises from Jiangyan district are making waves at the 137th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair). The event, held from April 15 to May 5 in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province, features 25 booths showcasing the region's industrial strengths across machinery, consumer goods, and medical equipment.
The fair's first phase spotlights Jiangyan’s industrial core, with 10 companies occupying 12 booths to showcase hardware tools, electrical equipment, and mechanical components. In the second phase, 5 local enterprises present cutting-edge lighting solutions, gifts, and decorative materials in five booths. The final phase features 5 more exhibitors in 8 booths, displaying a diverse array of apparel, medical devices, and leisure sports products.
Jiangsu Orient Pump Industry Co, a seasoned exhibitor, brought hand-operated and pneumatic pumps known for their durability and innovative design. Their booth quickly caught the attention of a British buyer on the first day, leading to a swift agreement on a $150,000 order.

Taizhou UML Mechanical Technology, a three-year-old startup specializing in custom metal displays for the food and beverage industry, stole the spotlight at its Canton Fair debut. The company attracted crowds with its uniquely designed beverage cart, offering free tastings that turned heads — and opened wallets, securing 3 orders from Brazil, Malaysia, and Mexico, totaling $96,000.
Looking ahead, Jiangyan district will continue to support local enterprises in expanding their global footprint, leveraging platforms like the Canton Fair to help more companies flourish on the world stage.
