Over 60 talented young professionals from Jiangyan Economic Development Zone recently took part in a spring rural field study event in Xiaoyang community. The immersive experience allowed participants to explore modern agriculture, connect with peers, and engage with Jiangyan's evolving ecosystem of talent and industry.
The event kicked off at the Xiaoyang matsutake mushroom cultivation base, where participants learned about the fungi's growth cycle, advanced planting techniques, and how technology is driving agricultural development. Many also experienced mushroom picking firsthand, giving them a glimpse of rural vitalization in action.

Later, at the Xiaoyang Family Campsite, a "Talent Coffee Party" provided an opportunity for young professionals to unwind and connect. Attendees received specially blended coffee and welcome kits, enjoyed freshly grilled matsutake and countryside barbecue, and listened to a presentation on Jiangyan's latest youth and talent policies. Onsite staff offered one-on-one policy consultations, helping answer individual questions.

Interactive games themed around rural life brought a sense of excitement to the gathering, testing participants' teamwork and strategic thinking. After three competitive rounds, three teams were awarded first, second, and third prizes.
The event is part of Jiangyan EDZ's "Sanshui Four Seasons" Talent Service Program, with this spring edition focusing on nature and community. Seasonal activities will continue throughout summer, autumn, and winter, building a welcoming talent ecosystem where coffee, opportunity, and warmth are always on offer.
