The Jingyan Economic Development Zone and Jiangsu University of Technology (JSUT) recently concluded a landmark Industry-Academia-Research Integration Forum at the college's campus in Changzhou, Jiangsu province.
The event, centered on establishing a "micro-campus", unveiling talent policies, and facilitating technical demand matchmaking, aimed to deepen collaborative innovation and drive the high-quality development of the precision manufacturing sector in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region.
JSUT, a designated institution under the national "Special Needs Talent Training Project", outlined plans to align its talent pipeline with industry needs through targeted training and internships. The university will collaborate with enterprises to tackle technical challenges, accelerate the commercialization of research in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and materials science, and establish platforms like a micro-campus and technical R&D centers. This initiative sets a new benchmark for "university-zone-enterprise" collaboration, fostering innovation-driven growth in Jingyan.
A concurrent job fair saw seven leading Jingyan enterprises, including Jiangsu Pacific Precision Forging and Taizhou Xinyu Precision Manufacture, offer nearly 100 high-quality positions, with students enthusiastically participating and igniting a vibrant atmosphere.

Moving forward, Jingyan, JSUT, and local enterprises will expedite the micro-campus rollout and establish regular technical matchmaking and dual-selection talent fairs. These efforts aim to strengthen the integration of academia, industry, and research, positioning Jingyan as a dynamic hub for precision manufacturing innovation in the YRD region.
