The 11th Joint Alliance for CSR (JAC) Supplier Forum 2025 was held in Hong Kong, where Shuangdeng Group, a leading energy storage battery manufacturer from Jiangyan district of Taizhou, beat out other global suppliers to win the Best Practice Award in the "risk analysis" category. It was the only battery manufacturer to receive the honor, showcasing the company's leadership in sustainable development within the global energy storage battery industry.

Founded by major global telecom operators, JAC aims to advance corporate social responsibility (CSR) management standards across the information and communication technology (ICT) industry. This year's forum focused on supply chain transparency, risk analysis, and stakeholder engagement, encouraging innovative ESG (environmental, social and governance) practices. Shuangdeng serves nearly 30 percent of telecom operators and equipment vendors worldwide, with its efforts in carbon management, green innovation, and low-carbon transformation earning strong recognition from JAC.
In recent years, Shuangdeng has actively implemented a comprehensive low-carbon strategy, including equipment upgrades, prioritization of renewable energy procurement, participation in carbon credit trading and green certificate programs, strict supplier carbon footprint control, and enhancement of environmental management systems. The company has received a CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) rating, earned a EcoVadis silver medal, and joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), aligning with the global 1.5 C climate goal.
Shuangdeng Group stated that it will continue to optimize its low-carbon operations, energy mix, and value chain collaboration, accelerating the green transformation of the energy storage battery sector. The company is committed to setting a benchmark for sustainable manufacturing in Jiangyan and contributing to the global energy transition.
