Founded in December 2011, Shuangdeng Group has grown into a leading enterprise in the global energy storage industry, employing over 2,000 people worldwide. The company has established a network of 42 domestic offices, more than 20 overseas branches, and five international warehousing centers, as well as six major battery and pack manufacturing bases, demonstrating its strong industrial synergy and global delivery capacity.
Specializing in the design, R&D, manufacturing, and sales of energy storage batteries and systems, Shuangdeng's products cover both lead-acid and lithium-ion technologies, widely used in artificial intelligence data centers, telecommunication base stations, and power storage systems. According to Frost & Sullivan, in 2024, Shuangdeng ranked No 1 globally in shipments of energy storage batteries for telecommunication and data center applications.
Shuangdeng took the lead in 2018 by launching China's first high-rate Interdigitated Cell (IDC) battery in the data center sector, setting new standards for domestically produced energy solutions. The company also led the drafting of several national and industry standards, serving major clients such as Alibaba, ByteDance, JD, and Baidu.
In the telecommunications field, as the lead drafter of multiple domestic communication battery standards, Shuangdeng maintains deep partnerships with Ericsson, Huawei, and China Mobile.
In the power storage field, with the completion of its lithium battery cell factory in Hubei, Shuangdeng has achieved integrated production and system delivery for large-capacity battery cells.
Innovation lies at the heart of Shuangdeng's growth. The company has established a Technical Expert Committee of six academicians and over 30 industry experts, supported by a high-level R&D team of PhD. and master's degree holders. To date, Shuangdeng has secured 356 patents, including 111 invention patents.
The company continues to make breakthroughs in lead-carbon, lithium-ion, sodium-ion, and solid-state batteries through close cooperation with top universities such as Tsinghua University and Harbin Institute of Technology.
