The new-type energy storage cell project by Shuangdeng Group in the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone aims to build a zero-carbon industrial park for energy storage, along with production lines for lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and energy storage battery packs.
Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate an additional 5 billion yuan ($731.33 million) in invoiced sales and 160 million yuan in tax revenue.

Shuangdeng ranked first in the China energy storage technology provider's 2025 global market shipments of batteries for base stations and data centers and retained the top spot in China's 2025 shipments of lithium batteries for communications and data center energy storage.
