The China National Intellectual Property Administration has released its list of the best demonstration companies to help China establish itself as a leader in IP, with two from the Taixing Economic Development Zone in Taixing, Jiangsu province, named.
They are Jiangsu Josun Air Conditioner, which focuses on the research and manufacturing of control systems for special space environments, and GEM (Jiangsu) Cobalt Industry, which specializes in the green smelting, high-end material manufacturing, and resource recycling of cobalt metal.
Catering to local companies' development needs when it comes to IP rights, the Taixing bureau for market regulation has embraced a series of measures to support them such as building a service system and promoting resource integration to boost their innovation and development.
As of November 2025, the total number of valid invention patents in Taixing stood at 4,926.
Looking ahead, the bureau will promote the formation of a virtuous development cycle from pilot demonstration to patent layout to industrial upgrading. Efforts will also be made to offer specialized IP services and organize experts to provide regular guidance.
