The Taixing High-tech Zone – in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – has top prioritized attracting fresh investment projects and focused on high-tech and emerging industries, in a bid to boost its high-quality growth.
In the assembly workshop operated by Jiangsu Huatuo Semiconductor Technology Co, some of its loading and wielding equipment have been put to use, while the rest are currently being tested.
A manufacturer of terminal products – for such industries as green lighting for household appliances, new energy and smart homes – the company will seal and test 5 billion integrated circuits annually after ramping up to full production.
The group's new semiconductors sealing and testing facility will form a complete industry supply chain with existing enterprises in the zone, which will also significantly reduce its production and transportation costs.

In recent years, the zone has targeted key links in the industry supply chain. It has further innovated its ideas and measures to lure investment projects, intensified its efforts and input for investment invitations and attracted emerging industries – promoting the linkages between the industry chain and the talent, innovation and capital chains.
Several taskforces have been launched to attract investment projects, targeting specialist industries, foreign-funded businesses as well as the modern services sector.
