Construction began on Jan 25 at the Taizhou Zhiche Science and Technology City project – a significant smart technology city project – in the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone.

The Taizhou Port EDZ is located in Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province.
With a total investment of 1 billion yuan ($139.70 million), the project aims to build a smart technology city serving electronics information, new energy vehicle components, high-end equipment manufacturing and other sectors.
The first phase involves an investment of 515 million yuan, covering a site spanning 109 mu (7.27 hectares), with a total building floor space of about 110,000 square meters.

Hang Huidong, deputy director of the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone Management Committee, announced the start of the project – emphasizing a commitment to innovation, green practices, openness and shared development.
Moreover, the project team is working diligently to accelerate the project's advancement, maintain construction quality and ensure safety at the same time.
Additionally, the Taizhou Zhiche Science and Technology City project operator signed agreements with five tenant enterprises in the Taizhou Port EDZ during the event, solidifying partnerships for the development of the ambitious smart technology initiative.
