Sun Xiaojun, deputy district chief of the Gaogang district of Taizhou city – also known as the Taizhou Medical High Tech Zone – recently led a team to conduct a comprehensive safety inspection in the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone.
The EDZ is located in the Taizhou Medical High Tech Zone, situated in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province.
During the visit, Sun visited resident manufacturer Jiangsu Baishun Adhesive Tape Co Ltd, where he examined its safety protocols, including the acceptance of safety designs for equipment and fire safety measures.

Elsewhere, at manufacturer Senci Electric Machinery Co Ltd, Sun focused on identifying potential safety hazards and reviewed the company's emergency response plans and daily safety practices.
In a subsequent meeting, he stressed the importance of enhancing safety awareness among enterprises through education and training initiatives.
Sun also emphasized the need for regular inspections and improvement efforts, particularly in critical areas.
Additionally, he highlighted the significance of conducting emergency drills to strengthen overall safety management in the EDZ.
Overall, the inspection was said to really underscore the commitment of local authorities to ensuring the safety of small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the area, thereby promoting an environment that is ideal for sustainable development.
