Taizhou, Jiangsu province, is dazzling visitors with a grand lantern festival at the Wanghai Tower scenic area in the city's Hailing district from Feb 6 to March 31.

As dusk falls, the city's ancient moat and historic architecture are transformed into a mesmerizing "ocean of light", featuring three themed zones: a welcome area, the garden of enchantment, and traditional auspicious beasts. Visitors can stroll around them daily from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

Beyond static displays, the festival also promises lively performances: folk custom parades, dragon and lion dancing, and drone light shows.
