The event transformed a Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1912) dynasties streetscape into an interactive cultural hub, featuring a 10-meter LED wall with radar-sensing technology at the Tai Wen Yi digital cultural station, allowing for hands-on engagement.
Visitors flocked to try out traditional games like archery throws and New Year printmaking, while nighttime lantern riddles drew crowds under glowing canopies.
Built on the site of the 19th-century Tongtai Pawnshop, the digital station exemplifies Hailing's approach to revitalizing historic sites through a model integrating culture and experience. By integrating immersive tech with traditional culture, the festival offered a blueprint for preserving traditions in the digital age while boosting tourism in Jiangsu's cultural centers.
