Jiangsu Xingfumen Biotechnology in Taixing, a county-level city in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, is set to revolutionize the grain and oil processing sector in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region with a massive 1 billion yuan ($146.41 million) investment.
The project, which commenced construction in August 2024, is already 90 percent complete with its main structure and 50 percent complete with equipment installation, aiming for completion and operation by July 2026.

Utilizing cutting-edge technology, the project incorporates world-leading equipment in the oil and fat sector. It employs advanced processes such as low-temperature pretreatment, fully continuous refining, and molecular distillation.
Notably, the residual oil rate in its drag chain extractor is below 0.8 percent, while vitamin E recovery reaches an impressive 85-90 percent. An intelligent control system ensures precise monitoring throughout the production process, setting new benchmarks for energy efficiency and automation.
Committed to green production, the project adheres to clean manufacturing principles and minimizes chemical reagent use through physical oil extraction methods. Wastewater treatment achieves a COD (chemical oxygen demand) value below 80 milligrams per liter, meeting national first-class standards, while exhaust and VOC (volatile organic compounds) emissions are strictly controlled below national limits.
With a comprehensive layout integrating production, warehousing, and logistics, the project includes a warehousing and logistics park with 96,000 metric tons of bulk meal silos and 57,000 tons of oil tanks, boasting a daily shipping capacity of 8,000 tons. Upon completion, it is poised to become a pivotal hub for the grain and oil industry in the YRD region.
