The Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone, also known as Taizhou's Gaogang district, located in East China's Jiangsu province, has been making remarkable progress in advancing its rural vitalization efforts.

Daichen village in Huzhuang town has transformed its previous inefficient ginkgo forest into an agricultural park. With a collective investment of over 300,000 yuan ($41,400), the agricultural park is now capable of hosting camping, fishing, and parent-child farming activities to tourists.

Daichen village also plans to transfer over 30 idle rural houses to provide elderly care services for citizens in surrounding cities. Additionally, idle factories in the village have been redesigned and expanded to produce specialty snacks.

All of the mentioned projects can generate an annual revenue of over 200,000 yuan for the village, with over 60 villagers gaining jobs.

Elsewhere in Baima town, efficient agriculture like rice is being cultivated there. Chenjia village in Baima town has a planting area of over 1,000 mu (67 hectares) and produces over 1,000 metric tons of fruits and vegetables annually.

The village has invested over 3 million yuan to construct a modern cold storage facility to enhance economic benefits. The facility includes two nitrogen-controlled cold storage compartments with a capacity of 4,000 cubic meters.

To date, the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone has constructed 18 major agricultural and rural projects. The planned investment for the current year is 763 million yuan.
