Jiangyan Economic Development Zone hosted a "Taizhou Day" follow-up event and a Micro-Campus Co-Construction Advancement Meeting with Jiangsu University of Technology (JSUT) on July 25, reinforcing their efforts to deepening industry-academia collaboration.
During the symposium, representatives from Jiangyan EDZ and JSUT emphasized the Micro-Campus project's key role in strengthening industry-education integration, supporting regional growth, and enhancing talent development. They outlined the project's progress, with JUST highlighting its advances in graduate education and Jiangyan EDZ showcasing its industrial strengths, unique sector profiles, talent policies, and ongoing preparations for the Micro-Campus.
In addition, faculty, students, and enterprise representatives engaged in active discussions on joint talent development, collaborative research in technology, and the creation of internship platforms.
The Micro-Campus functions as a hands-on training ground for students and a dynamic testing ground for collaboration among university, industry, and government. Building on this foundation, the three sectors seek to meet the needs of emerging productive forces, improve resource-sharing and synergistic mechanisms, and develop top-tier, application-focused talent equipped with strong research capabilities, practical skills, and innovative thinking.
