Shipbuilders in Taixing – administered by Taizhou city in Jiangsu province – report they've steadfastly maintained high production levels in a great start to the year.

An investment promotions activity program for the current year has been drafted by Taixing city to make every effort to introduce a batch of great new projects.

Taixing city will vigorously promote its industrial development and continue to tackle challenges for major projects in 2024.

President Xi Jinping highlighted on Tuesday the need to develop new quality productive forces tailored to local conditions for high-quality development, amid a new round of technological and industrial transformation.

Taixing city – administered by Taizhou city in Jiangsu province – recently set out the development goal of realizing a 6.5 percent increase in GDP in 2024.

Seven industrial projects in Taixing were recently included on the list of 2024 Jiangsu Province Major Projects, ranking it first among the areas in Taizhou.

Taixing city – which is located in East China's Jiangsu province – has implemented a strategy of strengthening itself through science and technology.

Taixing city has made continuous efforts to cultivate tech-based enterprises and this year the city has newly added 766 provincial-level tech-based small and medium-sized enterprises.
