Manufacturer Jiangsu TaiLong Decelerator Machinery Co Ltd – located in the Taixing High-tech Zone, in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – has added a provincial-level engineering research center.
Following approval by the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission, the zone's high-performance transmission machinery and precision control engineering research center was recently granted provincial-level status.
With a total investment of 50 million yuan ($6.87 million), the center specializes in research on efficient transmission core components and key precision deceleration components for industrial robots.
It has made breakthroughs in key technical challenges – such as precision design technology for transmission machinery reliability – and product reliability and consistency in batch manufacturing of precision reducers for robots.
Founded in 1982, Jiangsu TaiLong Decelerator Machinery Co Ltd is now one of the leading enterprises in its field following 40 years of development.
Last year, the company generated total sales of 1.1 billion yuan.
It has received over 30 national-level honors, including recognition as a National Key High-tech Enterprise.
