The first box girder of the Taizhou Hailing beam fabrication yard of Yancheng-Yixing High-speed Railway was successfully poured after nearly six hours of effort on May 12.
This is the first box girder of the Taizhou section of the railway to be poured, laying a solid foundation for the large-scale prefabrication production in the subsequent beam yard.
The railway is set to start at Yancheng Station and end at Yixing Station, passing through Yancheng, Taizhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, and Yixing, all in Jiangsu province.
Its main line will be about 311 kilometers long, with 10 stations along the whole line.
Upon completion, it will facilitate the movement of people along the route, which is of great significance for promoting the integrated development of northern, central, and southern Jiangsu and assisting in the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Delta integration.
