Two companies based in the Taixing High-tech Zone – in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – were recently recognized as provincial-level gazelle companies.
Gazelles are small and medium-sized enterprises entering a high growth period, supported by technological or business model innovation.
The two Taixing zone companies are Jiangsu Castmate Energy-saving Technology Co Ltd and Jiangsu Shengnan Electronic Technology Co Ltd.
Castmate specializes in production, research and development, operations and services for casting auxiliary materials.
Since it was founded in 2016, the company has rapidly expanded into the surrounding market with high-quality products and services, while its sales have steadily ranked among the top five in its field.

Shengnan is a private high-tech listed company that integrates research and development, production and operations. At present, the company has 40 patented technologies, including seven invention patents.

Gazelle companies have a fast growth rate, strong innovation ability, new fields of endeavor and great development potential.
The increasing number of those businesses indicates the stronger innovation vitality and faster development speed of the region.
