The Taixing High-tech Zone – located in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – is aiming to be an innovation hub for the city, focusing on attracting precision projects to build an innovation ecosystem for its high-quality development.
Over the past year, the zone has focused on becoming a magnet for talent, industry, capital and innovation, targeting key links in the industry supply chain.
It's become a national-level green industrial park and a national-level ecological environment science popularization base.
What's more, the zone has dedicated itself to being an integral part of science and technology innovation in the Yangtze River Delta. It has launched a sci-tech innovation partnership plan and operated two offshore innovation centers, respectively, in Shanghai's Hongqiao area and in Beijing's Jingyi area.
To top that off, it is also set to expand and strengthen three scientific and technological innovation platforms – the New Optoelectronic Materials Academician (Expert) Science and Technology Innovation Center, the Semiconductor Advanced Ceramics Research Institute and the National Reducer Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center – to attract high-level talent and high-tech projects.
As an important carrier for building an industrial supply chain, the zone is also regarded as being a key platform for promoting overall economic development and promoting industrialization.
In recent years, it's focused on building industrial clusters for energy conservation and environmental protection, solar power and key integrated circuits equipment, among others.
It's also vigorously carried out door-to-door investment promotions and industry supply chain-oriented investment promotions, focusing on replenishing and extending the chain.
