Construction on major projects in the Taixing High-tech Zone in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, is going ahead at full steam.
With a total investment of 255.4 million yuan ($35.62 million), the Caifu Center (Fortune Center) building will occupy a floor area of 54,380 square meters. Its main body has been capped, with interior and exterior wall painting, glass installation and fire protection engineering now in progress. The center is projected to be completed by May.

With a planned floor area of 154,37 sq m, the zone's intelligent transmission and distribution and control equipment project has finished the main body of its No 2 factory. Its No 1 factory is currently undergoing fireproof coating and truss installation work.
Moreover, the electronic devices intelligent manufacturing and R&D project is expected to be completed by April. The main structures of its No 2 and No 3 factory buildings have been completed. The project aims to produce 80 million semiconductor electronic devices annually.
With a total investment of 61.24 million yuan, the Phase II expansion project of a sewage treatment plant has completed construction on a resin defluorination workshop and a physical and chemical sludge workshop. It has also completed the foundation of an ozone catalytic oxidation tank. This project is expected to be finished by May.
The Phase II project of Ideal Energy Sunflower Vacuum Equipment (Taixing) Ltd is now busy with land demolition work, aiming to construct a building totaling 23,500 sq m.
