The Taixing High-tech Zone – located in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – is striving to turn itself into a showpiece for high-quality and green growth in the region.
Over the years, the zone has focused on the intensive growth of its high-tech green industries. It's also focused on establishing a pathway featuring a circular and low-carbon ecosystem – developing its energy conservation and environmental protection industries, while boosting the efficiency of resource utilization, reducing pollutant emissions and preventing environmental risks.
Jiangsu Cosine Electric Co is one of the contributors to the zone's green transition and low-carbon environment.
A national high-tech enterprise specializing in transformer and sensor manufacturing, resident company Jiangsu Cosine Electric Co has spared no efforts in promoting low-carbon development and cultivating green industries through improving the management of systems operations, energy consumption quotas, process technology and waste treatment facilities.
As one of the province's first green factories, Cosine also took the lead to adopt solar power, in a bid to save energy and reduce consumption.
According to deputy general manager Yang Feng, the company is now installing a 1.5-megawatt solar park plant, which will produce 1.5 million kilowatt-hours of power annually.
Jiangsu Nanji Machinery Co, another high-tech company in the zone, has been consolidating its leading position in the vessel sewage treatment equipment industry through digital and intelligent transformations.
Currently, the Taixing High-tech Zone is home to three national-level, one provincial-level and 14 municipal-level green factories.
