The Yaowang sub-district of Taixing city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – recently conducted its first lesson for young cadres this year, encouraging them to be devoted to regional construction for economic and social development.
Li Jun, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of Yaowang sub-district, pointed out the direction for the future development of its young cadres.
He urged them to be diligent in learning, good at thinking and emphasize practice, as well as respect power, guard against arrogance and impatience and hold firm to the bottom line.
Professionals from municipal government departments were invited to give special lectures and talk to young cadres face-to-face at the event.
Moving forward, plans are for the Yaowang sub-district to continue to implement its "Strong Foundation Project" to nurture young cadres – by building various platforms, adopting multidimensional training, one-on-one mentoring and other methods.
