Taixing city, administered by Taizhou city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – experienced a surge in its industrial economy in the first two months of the year.
In January and February, it generated a total of 41.64 billion yuan ($5.76 billion) in industrial invoiced sales, representing a whopping year-on-year increase of 31.36 percent.
Examples of this hustle and bustle are to be seen everywhere. At Jiangsu Defulai Auto Parts Co Ltd, based in the Taixing High-tech Zone, dozens of robots were recently working at capacity to assemble car skylights for the Nio auto brand.
A high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and development, design, manufacturing and sales of automotive sunroof components, Defulai Auto Parts has done very well.
It's achieved leading domestic product quality with its independently developed air circulation technology, lightweight technology and silent technology.
The company has gone full out to expand production, with invoiced sales hitting nearly 100 million yuan in the first two months.

Elsewhere in the Taixing Economic Development Zone, eight production lines run by Taixing Jinjiang Chemical Industry Co Ltd have been operating at high loads.
In recent years, the company has successively launched new production lines to make 350,000 metric tons of ethyl acetate and 450,000 tons of acetate per annum – making it the world's biggest acetate production base.

The company generated total invoiced sales of 1.14 billion yuan from January to February, up 37 percent year-on-year.
Overall, Taixing is moving to meet its central goals for production and economic growth.
