A public leisure and recreation facility in Taixing Fengqi town – located in the Taixing High-tech Zone, in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – has won official recognition.
Called the Fengqi Town Living Room, it was recently included on a list of such public facilities recognized in the current year for creating the "most beautiful public cultural spaces" in Jiangsu province.
A public cultural space is a platform for cultural displays, various dissemination, exchanges and cultural events. It's said the selection of the Fengqi living room will further enhance the cultural influence of Taixing.
With a total area of 9,409 square meters, the living room is adjacent to a beautiful 3A-level scenic area – the Fengqi Lake scenic belt – and also has support facilities such as a sports center, a camping area and an international exchange center around it.
It integrates various functions for planning displays, industry displays, entrepreneurship and innovation services, business communications, audiovisual reading, interactive experiences, cultural performances and cultural training, among other things.
Centered around the hobbies and needs of young talented people, the living room is said to aim to establish a "humanistic circle of friends" for young people to access at any time.
