Party building is helping to boost new quality productive forces – elements and reforms that can drive strategic emerging industries and boost productivity – in Taixing city, located in East China's Jiangsu province.
The momentum was given a further push when the Party committee of the intelligent manufacturing industry alliance of Taixing held its third Alliance Day events on March 23.
New quality productive forces refer to advanced productivity that breaks free from traditional economic growth modes and productivity development paths by using cutting-edge technology to improve efficiency and quality.

Taixing's Alliance Day event aimed to promote technological exchange, industry-education-research integration and talent cultivation for local enterprises.
Established in April 2023, the Party committee now governs nine Party organizations from intelligent manufacturers and has a total of 230 Party members.
They come from 21 upstream and downstream companies, four domestic prestigious universities and research institutes, functional organs and seven social organizations.
According to Xu Hui, director of the zone's management office, the zone is exploring a development model featuring "Party building plus industrial chain".
This aims to leverage the Party's political and organizational advantages to upgrade industrial and value chains.
Through regular study seminars and technological exchanges, the Party committee has further promoted communications between enterprises since 2023.
It has hosted more than 10 themed lectures and entrepreneur salons. It's said that thanks to the zone's efforts, China's first provincial-level permanent magnet motor standards committee settled there and issued six national-level industrial standards.
The Party committee also encourages technological innovation and intelligent transformation through coordination with enterprises in the industry supply chain.
