The Green Taixing, Move the Future New Energy and New Materials Industry Technology Achievement Promotion Conference took place on April 24 in the Taixing High-tech Zone – located in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province.
Taixing organization department chief Zhao Jun told the conference that the Taixing High-tech Zone, as an innovative special zone built by the city, had been rooted in the new energy and new materials sectors for many years.
He added that as a result, the zone had attracted a group of top manufacturers focusing on high-efficiency solar cells, equipment manufacturing, high-efficiency photovoltaic modules and power station developments and operations.
Four experts released their technological achievements at the event: Tian Tian from Yangzhou University, Chang Kun from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, as well as Zhang Kan and Chen Xiang from Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
Representatives of 16 new energy and materials enterprises and heads of Taixing financial investment institutions attended. They shared their insights with experts on technological competitive advantages, industry development trends and industrial expansion, among other things.
