The Taixing High-tech Zone, located in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, is urging key enterprises to boost their output through technological transformation and product innovation, as well as to bolster the construction of high-quality projects.
Since the start of the year, the zone has supported one of its manufacturers – Jiangsu Defulai Auto Parts – to upgrade its automotive parts inspection and testing technology.
Elsewhere, it has supported Jiangsu Nanji Machinery to develop new dual fuel system products for ships and encouraged Jiangsu Jiashi Electronic Technology and Jiangsu Yuanquan Pump Industry to conduct industry-university-research cooperation.
As a company that started operating last year, Jiangsu Jiashi Electronic Technology has invested in two module assembly lines and one display and television assembly line for its first phase project, which have adopted the most advanced production line technology in the industry.
In the first three quarters, the zone's industrial invoiced sales generated from companies above a designated size reached 10 billion yuan ($1.37 billion), a year-on-year increase of 16.7 percent.
What's more, the zone broke ground 15 projects and completed the construction of 11 projects worth over 100 million yuan each during the first nine months.
