With its focus on developing the real economy, Yaowang sub-district of Taixing city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, is rolling out efficient inventory management and special services for big companies and projects.
It has set out the goal of ensuring at least six resident companies are upgraded to the designation of enterprises above a designated size, those with annual revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.76 million) or more, this year.
Jiangsu Nuolei New Energy Technology is one of the key companies being cultivated in Yaowang sub-district, which mainly produces lithium-ion and alkaline batteries.
The sub-district arranged for service staff to assist the company in handling necessary administrative procedures, resulting in the manufacturer's two battery production lines starting up at the end of last year in quick succession.
Elsewhere in Taixing, manufacturer Yike Electronic Technology seized the opportunity presented by the market recovery last year to launch a new facility for the production of common mode inductor electronic components, taking its annual invoice sales exceed 80 million yuan.
In terms of financing needs, employment needs and bonus points policies, the sub-district plans to make dedicated efforts to help enterprises overcome difficulties, as well as to assist them to participate in upcoming business exhibitions, said Li Jun, deputy secretary of the district's Party working committee.
