Taixing in East China's Jiangsu province has been promoting the innovation of its recruitment program and it has been optimizing its business environment to attract more people to help develop the city.
Li Xinkai, a new graduate from University of Science and Technology of China, recently benefited from 14 days of free accommodation during the job search process in Taixing.
"I applied and found that I could check in on the same day of application, which solved my worries," Li said.
To help young college students with the difficulties of job hunting in different places, the city has provided services such as free accommodation for no more than 14 days and employment guidance for eligible college graduates.
Moreover, a series of offers including entrepreneurship vouchers, innovation vouchers and home purchase vouchers have been rolled out to optimize the city's talent ecosystem.
Data showed that the budget for talent special funds in Taixing hit 50 million yuan ($6.91 million) in two consecutive years, while the city disbursed over 40 million yuan in policy funds in 2024.
The city has also been focusing on building a more competitive talent attraction system, a more supportive nurturing system and a more appealing talent service system.
