A new energy vehicle parts and non-standard automation equipment manufacturing plant, to be erected in the Taixing High-tech Zone, Taixing city, Jiangsu province, recently completed approval procedures and construction will start before the end of the year.
The project, being funded by Jiangsu Dexintai Automotive Technology, will be constructed in two phases. After coming onstream, it will generate annual invoiced sales of 1.06 billion yuan ($147.49 million).
Most notably, the project is classified as an "enclave project". As such, it is a project that is being introduced by Taixing's Yaowang sub-district but can't be settled there due to constraints such as industrial planning resources and as a result it will be transferred to the receiving area – the Taixing High-tech Zone.
The project is the city's first enclave project. Earlier in April this year, Taixing launched a trial scheme to explore them, aimed at promoting the layout of high-quality projects throughout the city by optimizing resource allocations.
Under the funding reward standards of the scheme, Yaowang sub-district has become one of the first beneficiaries of the initiative.
