Nineteen enterprises in the Taixing High-tech Zone, located in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, were included in this year's first technology-based small and medium-sized enterprise information database, which was recently released by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology.
Technology-based SMEs are the foundation for cultivating innovative businesses and are an important force for cultivating high-tech companies.
For the recognized enterprises, Jiangsu province will focus on implementing preferential tax policies for them to reduce their research and development costs.
It will also launch technology innovation vouchers to support enterprises in purchasing technology innovation services. Moreover, it will form a diversified financial support system covering the different stages of the development of enterprises, to help them alleviate their funding difficulties.
Moving forwards, plans are for the zone to further strengthen its cultivation and support of technology-based SMEs, and to provide precise and tailored services to continue to stimulate the vitality of enterprise innovation and development.
