Under the leadership of Hao Kunchao, chairman of Jiangsu Tonghui Green Building Technology in Taixing High-tech Zone, Taixing, Jiangsu province, the company has consistently introduced new products that enhance market competitiveness and drive technological innovation in China's construction industry's green transformation.
Hao, who has nearly two decades of experience in prefabricated construction, founded the company in June 2022. He spearheaded the development of the world's first core technology for steel pipe web members, which has advanced the manufacturing of lighter, stronger, and more eco-friendly concrete precast slabs.

"We combined high-performance concrete, thin-walled steel pipes, and high-strength concrete to ultimately achieve ultra long, lightweight, and high-strength characteristics in our products," said Hao.
He said that the core technology has addressed several structural issues in buildings, and Tonghui has revised relevant national standards to enhance the promotion and adoption of this technology across the country.
So far, Tonghui's products have been applied to the T3 terminal of Shanghai Pudong International Airport and other benchmark projects.
In addition to its core products, Tonghui has also partnered with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Tongji University to co-develop prefabricated structural systems for rural self-built houses.
This system offers benefits such as affordability, excellent seismic resistance, energy efficiency, and environmental friendliness. Its integrated installation takes just two days and can save over 100 yuan ($14.05) per square meter compared to traditional brick and tile methods.
