The health commission of Taixing, Jiangsu province, has conducted targeted services to safeguard the occupational health of resident small and micro enterprises (SMEs).
Some SMEs in Taixing currently have prominent problems in occupational health management, which threaten the physical and mental health of workers and restrict the sustainable development of enterprises.
The commission has led an assistance team to provide regular testing of occupational disease hazards, training of management personnel, and improvement of occupational health management systems for 21 SMEs.
For enterprises with occupational disease hazard risk level of "Class C", the team has assisted in identifying risk points, guiding the implementation of rectification and promoting the improvement of enterprise risk level. Monitoring has also been conducted on the workplaces of 36 employers with serious occupational disease hazards, guiding enterprises to standardize occupational health management.
The team has also conducted specialized training for the leaders and occupational health administrators of over 300 SMEs.
As of now, the number of enterprises with a comprehensive risk level of "Class C" for occupational hazards in Taixing is 65 less than in 2024. A total of 305 enterprises have received occupational health training, 36 enterprises have received guidance through workplace monitoring, and 21 SMEs have received professional assistance.
