Yaowang subdistrict of Taixing in East China's Jiangsu province has been focusing on the development of the real economy, with its invoiced sales revenue of industrial enterprises above designated size estimated to reach 1.426 billion yuan ($201 million) this year, up 8 percent year-over-year.
Last year, local manufacturer Taixing Yike Electronic Technology Co invested 100 million yuan in a new project for common-mode inductors and electronic components, which commenced operations in June. By the end of October, the company's invoiced sales revenue reached 80 million yuan and is expected to exceed 100 million yuan by the end of this year.
Jiangsu Noran New Energy Technology Co, a new enterprise above designated size in the subdistrict, specializes in the production of lithium-ion and alkaline batteries. Thanks to the support of the subdistrict authorities, the company successfully began operations at the start of the year. From January to October, the company's invoiced sales revenue amounted to 45 million yuan, with an expected annual output value of 60 million yuan.
Since the start of this year, Yaowang subdistrict has set clear targets for fostering new enterprises above the designated size by establishing a responsibility system, enhancing the monitoring of small and medium-sized enterprises, and continually optimizing the business environment.
By implementing tailored, one-on-one services, the subdistrict is accelerating the full-capacity production of growth-oriented enterprises, encouraging them to maximize production, solidify the industrial foundation, and strive to meet the target for the year.
