The Science and Technology Promotion Center under the Ministry of Water Resources has released the "Guiding Catalogue for Key Promotion of Advanced and Practical Water Conservancy Technologies in 2025", with one notable innovation from the Taixing High-tech Zone selected.
The crawler-type high flow emergency drainage robot developed by Yatai Pump & Valve will be promoted as an important new technology for flood control, drainage, and emergency rescue in China's water conservancy system.

The robot is a high-tech product independently developed by the company for urban flood disaster rescue needs, replete with independent intellectual property rights.
In response to the common problems of low flow, weak mobility, and insufficient reliability in current emergency drainage equipment, the company has leveraged its technological advantages and successfully developed a new generation of high flow drainage robots in collaboration with Jiangsu University.
The achievement recently pocketed first prize at the Jiangsu Province Machinery Industry Science and Technology Progress Awards. It also passed the provincial new product appraisal and is now being applied in flood control and drainage practices in more than 20 Chinese cities.
