During the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026–30), the Taixing High-tech Zone in Taixing, Jiangsu province, will strive to achieve the development visions of deeper industries, more high-tech characteristics, and greater innovative vitality.
Xu Hui, director of the zone's management office, said that the zone will focus closely on the two key tasks — building a "333" modern industrial system and promoting the integration of industry and innovation, marking a strong start to the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
In terms of project development, the zone will ensure breakthroughs in major and key projects, the rapid start of foreign-funded projects, and increased output of small-scale yet high-quality projects.
Xu said that the zone will strive to have 32, 18, and 14 new projects worth over 100 million yuan ($14.39 million) each signed, broken ground, and completed throughout the current year, respectively.

The zone will also strive to attract more than 200 enterprises above the designated size throughout the year, achieve a 10 percent increase in industrial invoice sales, and attract four new specialized and sophisticated enterprises at or above the provincial level that develop innovative and unique products.
The zone will leverage high-end platforms and spur cutting-edge talent and innovation to support the cultivation of new, high-quality projects. For instance, it will introduce more than 100 high-level talents throughout the year and recognize five key scientific and technological innovation projects.
