Yaowang sub-district in Taixing, Jiangsu province, is stepping up its modern service sector push, with a renewed focus on logistics, cultural tourism and healthcare, as well as convenience-oriented commerce.
At the Sangmu Wanda rural farmland project, the underground foundation work has already been completed. The 10-million-yuan ($1.37-million) agri-tourism complex, set for completion by the end of October, will accommodate outdoor study tours and a petting zoo.

Leveraging existing assets such as Natu Theme Park Wanda Farm, Yaowang is building a southern agri-cultural tourism demonstration zone around Sangmu village, integrating urban farming, pastoral vacations, homestays, fishing, camping and local cultural experiences.
Public facilities are also moving forward. A gas station on the west side of Taiyao Highway, invested by Jianxin Petrochemical, is set for trial operation on Oct 1, filling a four-km gap in standardized fueling services.
Yaowang is advancing its "One Zone, One Street, One Center" framework — the Sangmu agri-cultural tourism zone, Dongyang Road dining street, and Shilidian commercial sub-center.
It is tapping into local ecological and commercial resources, and revitalizing idle buildings and rural land, while courting investors from Shanghai and southern Jiangsu.
