The Taixing High-tech Zone in Taixing, Jiangsu province, has set goals to make strides in industrial leapfrogging, the integration of production and innovation, and a better ecology.
For industrial development, the zone will focus on developing green and low-carbon equipment and intelligent equipment industries, striving to expand the industrial scale.
The zone will support local enterprises in adopting technological innovation to drive transformation and upgrading, including the integration of artificial intelligence with manufacturing, manufacturing with services, and digital and physical embedding.
The zone aims to add one to two listed companies to its portfolio during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-30).
To advance the integration of production and innovation, the zone will make every effort to build high-energy platforms and to improve the operations and quality of innovative platforms.
The zone will also encourage leading enterprises to form innovation consortia, exploring the sharing of supply chain and innovation chain resources, and collaborative innovation among large, medium, and small enterprises.
To establish a better ecology, the zone will explore high-quality services with more flexible forms, richer channels, and more precise supply. It will also deepen the youth and talent friendly construction, with efforts to build youth and talent communities, waterfront green corridors, and new spaces, among others.
