Project construction at the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone, or Taizhou Port EDZ – located in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – has been stepped up and is now in full swing.

In particular, the zone is beefing up its efforts to build the Great Wall Motor intelligent industrial park, which involves a total investment of 1.55 billion yuan ($228.54 million) and covers an area of 13 hectares.

Construction work started in November 2022 and is currently undergoing major excavation. The main production plant is expected to be completed in September this year and delivered in March 2024.
When complete, it will be a comprehensive industrial park – integrating R&D, design, manufacturing, product displays and offices.
