Jiangsu Senci Electric Machinery's new factory project, located in the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, broke ground on June 5.
With an investment of 250 million yuan ($36.89 million), the project will include the demolition of the company's original factory buildings and the construction of a new one with a floor area of 37,174 square meters. It will include factory buildings, supporting facilities, and 210 sets of production equipment such as excitation stator winding machines and rotor winding machines.
After completion, the company’s annual production capacity will increase to 500,000 bipolar motors, 60,000 high-efficiency four pole brushless motors, and 10,000 high-power diesel generator sets.
The company, which has been operating in the zone since 2009, specializes in the research and development, production, and sale of electromechanical equipment and generator sets. Since its establishment, it has focused on high-end power electromechanical manufacturing, promoting production process innovation, equipment iteration and upgrading, and intelligent transformation.
