The Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone of Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu is providing guidance to help companies apply for recognition as high-tech enterprises.
Experts from around the province were invited to conduct guidance services. They explained the procedures in detail and how to overcome some commonly-faced difficulties.
They also gave suggestions about setting up financial accounts and the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, to help enterprises improve their applications.
Yan Feng, a financial manager at Wanxiang Precision Industry Jiangsu Co Ltd, said the firm's high-tech enterprise qualification expired this year after three years and needs to be re-upped.
The experts pointed out all the problems in the materials the firm had prepared with great accuracy, he added.

Its automobile hub bearing is a national key product with independent intellectual property rights and brands, mainly supporting mainstream manufacturers like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, and General Motors.
Moving forward, the zone will further optimize its guidance system for those applying to be recognized as high-tech enterprises, and continue to expand the high-tech company cluster, thus adding more impetus to the zone's high-quality development.
