The 10th China (Taizhou) International Health Industry High-Level Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition ended in Taizhou's China Medical City on Oct 24.
The high-frequency ultrasound surgery integrated system project by Jiangsu Baining Yingchuang Medical Technology Co Ltd – situated in the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone – won third prize.
The project is led by Gu Xinbo and Gu's team, and it boasts the advantages of high accuracy, less bleeding, and fast postoperative recovery.
The system is mainly used in cataract emulsification surgeries, liver, and gallbladder tumor surgeries, cosmetic liposuction, soft tissue surgeries, and bone surgeries.
Since the competition's launch in September, it has attracted 221 high-level innovation and entrepreneurship talent projects from around the world, covering multiple fields such as biomedicine, medical devices, and diagnostic reagents.
