Two projects led by Quan Guozheng and Li Shuai – from the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone in Taizhou city, located in East China's Jiangsu province – scored great results at the recently concluded 2023 Taizhou Fengcheng Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
Scoring second prize was a project – comprising a team led by Quan Guozheng – on key technology and equipment for the preparation of additive plastic composite materials used in transportation equipment.
Elsewhere, a project on the development of new technologies and the intelligent production of key components in electrolytic aluminum – led by Li Shuai – won the excellence award.
Since its launch in early September, the competition has involved 391 high-level talents. The competition has mainly attracted folks from sectors in marine equipment and high-tech ships, automotive parts and precision manufacturing, chemicals and new materials, as well as solar power and lithium batteries.
The competition's finals included a group stage and a roadshow stage, selecting 20 winners for the first, second, third and excellence awards.
