Some 17 companies in the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone – in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – were recently included on the list of 2023 provincial specialized and sophisticated enterprises that produce new and unique products.
The announcement was made by the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu.
They include Wanxiang Precision Industry Jiangsu Co Ltd, Jiangsu Jiuxing Precision Technology Group Co Ltd and Jiangsu Jiurun Packaging Co Ltd, among others.
The recognition is expected to encourage local small and medium-sized enterprises to achieve professional operations, refined output, distinctive processes and innovative products.
The assessment provides a comprehensive evaluation and a professional review of the enterprises in terms of multiple metrics, including operating income and their innovation capabilities.
Moving forward, centering on key industry supply chains, the zone will move to nurture its SMEs, encouraging more enterprises to take the path towards specialized and sophisticated development.
