At the bustling production plant run by Susa Food Co Ltd – situated in the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone, in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – output is currently at an all-time high.
Susa Food is a major player in the food industry, known for its innovation in healthy beverages and particularly for its hit range of coconut juices.

With a surge in orders, the company is currently producing 50,000 boxes of products daily. The newly introduced coconut water series has been a big hit, with demand surpassing supply and reaching markets in Zhejiang, Shanghai, Anhui and beyond.
To meet growing market demand and to expand its production capacity, the company broke ground on the second phase of a planned expansion at the end of February, with a hefty investment of 1 billion yuan ($138.24 million).
The project involves construction of four additional production workshops and the installation of six fully automatic sterile beverage production lines.
On completion, it will churn out 30 million boxes of coconut drinks annually, generating an additional 800 million yuan in annual sales revenue and contributing 40 million yuan in taxes.
