A delegation from Taizhou, including representatives from the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone, visited prominent enterprises, financial institutions, and research organizations in Shanghai from June 26 to 27, aiming to tap into top-tier resources and foster deeper collaboration across industries.
At Bestway Marine & Energy Technology Co, China's first publicly listed private enterprise in shipbuilding technology and one of Shanghai's Top 100 private firms, the delegation gained insights into the company's operations and growth strategies. Bestway has core businesses spanning marine engineering, defense equipment, and new energy, positioning it as a major player with strong development potential. The delegation reviewed the progress made on Bestway's Taizhou production base and pledged continued support, offering targeted services to help resolve implementation challenges and ensure the project’s smooth advancement.
The delegation also visited Uni-President, which has a wholly owned subsidiary in Taizhou. With a long-standing presence in Taizhou, the company has become a key player in the city's food and beverage sector. During the visit, the delegation explored the company's showroom and engaged in in-depth discussions on its business philosophy, operations, industry footprint, and future aspirations—particularly in the context of the growing health-oriented food and beverage market.
