Recently, 96 companies from the Taizhou Medical High-Tech Zone were included in the first batch of technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to be listed in Jiangsu province's 2025 registry, as announced by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology.
The chosen companies represent the zone's core industries, including biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, and electronic information. They also cover specialized fields such as new drug development, high-end equipment manufacturing, and new materials.
By registering, enterprises can access various policy incentives, such as increased tax deductions for R&D expenses and preferential loan interest subsidies for tech-based SMEs. These initiatives lower R&D costs, motivate increased investment in technological innovation, and help speed up the commercialization of research achievements.
