The conference is one of the most significant international academic platforms in the field of automotive lightweighting. Winning six awards marked a "grand slam" for Great Wall Motors, demonstrating its strong technical reserves and leading applications in vehicle body lightweighting research.
Launched in 2020 in the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone, the Great Wall Motors Taizhou base covers 1,173 mu (78 hectares) with an initial investment of 8 billion yuan ($1.12 billion). As the company's eighth vehicle production base in China, it serves as both the core hub for the East China market and one of Great Wall Motors' key export bases.
