A delegation from the China Academy of Machinery Beijing Research Institute of Mechanical & Electrical Technology (BRIMET) recently visited the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone, strengthening industry-academia-research collaborations to support the region's high-end manufacturing sector.
The delegation visited several key manufacturers in the zone, including Taizhou Zhejiang China Precision Forging, Jiangsu Bi'ao Automotive Technology, and Taizhou Deyao Auto Parts Company. It examined production lines and equipment while holding discussions focusing on technical bottlenecks with engineers, setting a solid foundation for the subsequent steps.

Moving forward, the zone and BRIMET plan to establish a regular cooperation framework, aiming to better align academic research with industrial needs. By addressing technological problems, developing innovation platforms, and training talent together, both sides seek to accelerate the application of research achievements.
